Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. designs, develops, and maintains residential and commercial HVAC products aimed at best-in-class performance and reliability across platforms and product families. You will also provide manufacturing support for existing products.

This role emphasizes NPD and sustaining initiatives, hands-on testing, and cross-functional collaboration to meet project timelines and quality standards. A Mechanical Engineering degree plus relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC design focus preferred.
• 5 years design and project experience preferred.
• EPA Section 608 Universal certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide measurable contribution to NPD projects and sustaining initiatives.
• Manage projects through the complete product development cycle.
• Design, optimize and qualify HVAC systems with analytical methods and experimental techniques.
• Lead product qualification and agency compliance test programs.
• Document product designs by preparing BOMs, drawings, and product change notifications.
• Interface with regulators and test agencies.
