Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software and HVAC design tools.
• Strong understanding of building codes and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems and perform heating/cooling load calculations.
• Develop control diagrams and sequences of operations for HVAC projects.
• Oversee HVAC project phases from concept to implementation; review design criteria.
• Test HVAC systems and analyze prototypes; monitor and evaluate performance using software.
• Prepare detailed documentation and specifications; ensure compliance with codes such as the IBC.
