Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an HVAC Subcontract Technical Representative (STR) to oversee and coordinate HVAC and Process Ductwork subcontracts on Project Cardinal in New Albany, Ohio. You will ensure design, fabrication, installation, testing, and turnover meet project specs and safety standards.

You will liaise between Bechtel and the HVAC subcontractor, support quality control, change coordination, and field problem solving to keep costs and schedules on track; travel on site and collaboration with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; 5–8 years experience (9–12 without degree).
• Strong reading of design drawings and codes; excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to perform field inspections and walk-downs on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical and field liaison with subcontractors for safe, on-schedule work.
• Coordinate daily subcontractor activities, oversee quality inspections, and manage submittals.
• Interface with Procurement, Project Controls, Engineering, QA to align performance with project objectives.
