Southern Home Services is seeking a Start-Up Warranty Technician to lead start-ups and troubleshoot newly installed HVAC systems, ensuring performance and warranty compliance. You will work closely with installation teams and customers to resolve issues and deliver clear service reports.

This non-exempt, full-time role requires strong HVAC knowledge, EPA certification, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and a customer-centric approach.

Qualifications

• CFC/EPA certification required for environmental compliance.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving and a clean record.
• Committed to high-quality workmanship and professional attitude.
• Excellent customer service and ability to interact with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Conduct start-ups of newly installed HVAC systems and verify performance.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment issues to restore functionality.
• Provide thorough service reports and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Notify the office for parts and expedite procurement.
• Communicate clearly with customers and builders to resolve issues.
• Manage calls, scheduling, and records using company-issued iPad.
• Work hours are 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with 7:00 am start on shop days.
• Additional duties as assigned.
