Job summary

Mechanical One in the United States is seeking an HVAC Start-Up Technician to lead the initial operation and testing of newly installed systems. The role requires deep knowledge of HVAC components, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to resolve issues during start-up.

You will conduct pre-start-up inspections, initiate and monitor start-up procedures, perform system balancing, test controls, and train building occupants on operation.

Qualifications

• 1 year of HVAC residential installer experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Pass drug screen and background check.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and codes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Position Overview

Requirements

• Must have 1 year of HVAC residential installer experience.
• Must have a Valid Driver's license and clean MVR report.
• Must possess the ability to own and use power tools to effectively execute HVAC jobs
• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.
• Ability to lift objects safely over 50 pounds, climbing, standing and kneeling.
• Ability to wear company approved personal protection equipment per local, state, federal or OSHA regulations.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
