Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, a Mid-Atlantic leader for over 50 years, seeks a HVAC Start Up / Commissioning Technician to support field teams and oversee maintenance and personnel for safe, efficient task completion.

The role requires 5+ years in HVAC with knowledge across systems; strong Microsoft Office skills; and the ability to multi-task. Travel and supervisory duties may apply, with compensation reflecting experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the HVAC trade or equivalent
• Operational and customer facing experience
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or controls systems
• Excellent building services knowledge
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Able to multi-task with minimal supervision and attention to detail
• Must be available to work assigned schedules

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and implementation of HVAC systems and start-up programming
• Coordinate with clients to schedule and perform tasks
• Supervise tasks and projects as assigned
• Investigate and recommend changes to improve safety
• Maintain inspection, repair, and maintenance records
• Manage employee time records and daily activity reports
• Participate in safety inspections and meetings
• Test new equipment to design specifications
