Job summary

MSS Solutions, LLC is seeking a Service Technician – HVAC III in Lexington, SC. This role supports Senior HVAC technicians, conducts preventive maintenance contracts, and troubleshoots/repairs light commercial equipment.

The position involves documenting equipment logs and maintaining safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have Universal EPA certification and strong knowledge of HVAC systems up to 25 tons, with the ability to read schematics and electrical diagrams.

Qualifications

• Universal EPA certification.
• Ability to understand mechanical drawings and equipment specifications.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex high and low-voltage electrical systems; read wiring schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior HVAC technicians.
• Perform preventative maintenance contracts.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain light commercial equipment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance such as replacing belts/filters and identify anomalies in HVAC equipment.
• Log HVAC equipment conditions and test results.
• Communicate with Team Lead, Coordination Staff, Sales Staff, and customers.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Abide by safe work practices.
