Job summary

MSS Solutions, LLC is hiring a Service Technician – HVAC III to support senior technicians and maintain a wide range of commercial HVAC equipment. The role involves preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently.

The candidate should have universal EPA certification, strong electrical and mechanical understanding, and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly with customers and team members. This is a full-time on-site position in Hanahan, SC.

Qualifications

• Universal EPA certification is required.
• Ability to understand mechanical drawings and equipment specifications.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex high and low-voltage electrical systems; read wiring schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior HVAC technicians.
• Perform preventative maintenance contracts.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain light commercial equipment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance such as replacing belts/filters and identify anomalies in HVAC equipment.
• Log HVAC equipment condition and circuit data.
• Braze, leak checks, and evacuation processes as applicable.
• Understand commercial DX equipment up to/over 25 tons and related components.
• Communicate with Team Lead, Coordination Staff, Sales Staff, and customers.
• Complete project logs and paperwork accurately and timely.
