Atlantic Constructors, Inc. seeks a Special Projects Estimator to prepare detailed estimates for smaller commercial projects, focusing on HVAC and sheet metal. You will solicit subcontractor quotes, review plans and specifications, and develop bid strategies.

The role requires 2+ years of estimating experience in commercial/industrial construction and proficiency with estimating software, with opportunities to train in estimating by the company.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' trades estimating experience in commercial/industrial projects.
• 1+ years' Estimating/Pre-Construction experience; knowledge of commercial HVAC is a plus.
• Proficient with estimating software (Autobid, Quote Soft, TSI, Estimation) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete estimates for bids on HVAC/Sheet Metal projects.
• Solicit subcontractor and vendor quotations to ensure coverage of all scopes.
• Review construction documents, bid instructions, and general conditions.
• Enter estimates into the job cost control program and participate in turnover meetings.
