Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Special Projects Estimator to prepare complete estimates for HVAC and related commercial projects. You will solicit subcontractor quotes, review bid documents, and assist in developing strategies and scopes of work.
This role requires 2+ years of trades estimating in commercial/industrial settings and experience with AutoBid, Quote Soft, and TSI estimation tools. You will coordinate with in-house trades, support pre-bid activities, and help ensure
Competenze
- 2+ years' trades estimating experience in commercial/industrial construction.
- 1+ years' Estimating/Pre-Construction experience.
- Strong knowledge of estimating software (Autobid, QuoteSoft, TSI, Estimation).
- Advanced knowledge of assigned discipline, estimating techniques and cost control.
- Proficiency in interpreting cost data and construction assemblies.
Mansioni
- Prepare complete estimates for bids on HVAC and related commercial projects.
- Solicit subcontractor and vendor quotations to cover all scopes of work.
- Review construction docs, bids, and general conditions for accuracy.
- Develop draft scope of work and assist in subcontract negotiations.
- Enter estimates into job cost control and support turnover with operations.
