Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience in HVAC industry sales, applications engineering, or related technical field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering products and HVAC systems.
• Experience performing HVAC, structural, or other mechanical load calculations.
• Proficiency with HVAC load calculation software and engineering tools.
• Knowledge of mechanical design, construction processes, and specs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within mechanical engineering and HVAC markets.
• Generate leads, qualify prospects, and build a pipeline of customers.
• Assist with proposals, estimates, bids, and project pursuits.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend technical solutions.
• Collect technical and project information from customers.
• Assist with technical presentations, customer meetings, and project discussions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop customized solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and prospects.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
• Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to meet objectives.
• Support sales forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management.
• Analyze data to identify market trends and opportunities for growth.
• Stay current on HVAC products, systems, and industry practices.
• Serve as interim Project Manager when needed.
• Assist with HVAC system design for construction projects.
• Perform or assist with HVAC and other mechanical load calculations.
• Conduct job-site inspections to ensure design adherence and safety.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, sales, and project teams.
• Attend trade shows and industry events as needed.
