• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.

• Experience performing HVAC, structural, or other mechanical load calculations.
• Proficiency with HVAC load calculation software and engineering tools.

Job Overview

The Mechanical Applications Engineer combines mechanical engineering expertise with customer-facing sales and business development responsibilities. This role works closely with customers to understand their technical requirements, develop practical HVAC and mechanical solutions, and support business development and project pursuits.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the mechanical engineering and HVAC markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in HVAC industry sales, applications engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical engineering products, HVAC systems, and related solutions.
• Experience performing HVAC, structural, or other mechanical system load calculations.
• Proficiency with HVAC load calculation software and engineering analysis tools.
• Knowledge of mechanical design principles, HVAC systems, construction processes, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
