As an HVAC Smart Building Sales Account Representative, you will oversee the sale of Johnson Controls' Building Efficiency offerings. You will collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet customers' operational, environmental, and financial objectives while fostering long‑term partnerships through innovative business and technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Sell Johnson Controls offerings with confidence and persistence to stakeholders in the construction community, aiming for optimal profitability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers to promote Johnson Controls as their preferred partner.
• Identify and engage new business opportunities aligned with strategic goals.
• Recommend tailored solutions to address customers' operational, environmental, and financial objectives.
• Represent customer interests within Johnson Controls, ensuring they receive maximum value from our offerings.

Qualifications

• Required: Two years of experience selling HVAC Controls to engineers, contractors, or general contractors.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Three years of sales experience in the construction industry.
• Five years of sales experience in the construction or HVAC industry.
• Knowledgeable in designing and/or selling building automation systems.
• Strong initiative and excellent communication skills.

Salary and Benefits

Hiring salary range: $86,000–$120,000. The compensation package includes a competitive base salary, a performance‑based incentive plan that considers volume and margin on a project, quarterly, and annual basis, as well as a comprehensive benefits program including 401(k), medical, dental, vision, paid time off (15 vacation days in the first year plus holidays and sick time), and extensive training resources.
