Gallo Mechanical LLC is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Estimator to join its Preconstruction team. You will develop cost estimates for sheet metal and HVAC ductwork, bid projects, and support pre-construction efforts.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, performing takeoffs with Trimble Autobid/ FastDUCT/ QuoteSoft, and preparing detailed cost summaries while maintaining bid calendars and collaborating with clients and engineers.

Formación

• Reading mechanical drawings, specs, and RFPs to bid sheet metal scope.
• Detailed quantity takeoffs for ductwork using estimating software.
• Reviewing takeoffs for duct gauge, sealing class, insulation, and fittings.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare cost estimates and high-level scope for sheet metal and ductwork projects.
• Monitor weekly bid calendar and complete proposals on time.
• Solicit bids from subcontractors, fabricators, and vendors.
• Draft proposals, bid forms, and cost breakouts with clear scope and exclusions.
• Assist in preparing conceptual budgets from design documents.
• Attend scope review meetings with clients, engineers, and GC teams.
