Job summary

Quality Air, Inc. in Grand Rapids, Michigan is seeking a dedicated team member to assist with daily shipping schedules, perform inventory checks, and deliver materials to job sites. Responsibilities include tool repair, refrigerant recovery in compliance with EPA regulations, and general shop maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record and is preferred to have a chauffer’s license. Tools for performing work and the ability to obtain EPA certification are necessary.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily shipping schedule and perform inventory checks.
• Deliver materials and equipment to and from jobsites.
• Assist the team in handling daily communication with 3rd party partners.
• Perform receiving duties and recording part orders.
• Tool repair and maintenance.
• Responsible for breaking down HVAC equipment and organizing scrap metal.
• Refrigerant recovery and record keeping in compliance with EPA 608.
• General shop maintenance, cleaning, and organization.

Primary Responsibilites

• Assist with daily shipping schedule and perform inventory checks to ensure accurate information is provided for proper decision making
• Deliver materials and equipment to and from jobsites. Assist with loading and unloading
• Assist the team in handling daily communication with 3rd party partners
• Assist the team as needed throughout the day
• Perform receiving duties and recording part orders
• Work cooperatively with colleagues and other departments and communicate relevant information in a timely and effective manner
• Tool repair and maintenance
• Assist in restocking warehouse materials
• Responsible for breaking down HVAC equipment and organizing scrap metal
• Refrigerant recovery and record keeping in compliance with EPA 608
• Provide feedback and recommendations to their manager regarding changes to improve the operation and implement action plans as directed
• General shop maintenance, cleaning, and organization
