Job summary

Quality Air Heating & Cooling, Inc. is looking for an HVAC technician to assist with daily shipping schedules, inventory management, and communication with partners. Applicants should have a clean driving record and tools for performing work; a chauffeur’s license is preferred.

The role includes delivering equipment, performing receiving duties, and maintaining warehouse organization. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record is essential.
• Ability to obtain EPA Section 608 certification is required.
• Tools necessary for performing work must be available.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily shipping schedule and inventory checks.
• Deliver materials and equipment to jobsites; assist in loading/unloading.
• Perform receiving duties and record part orders.
• Maintain tools, repair equipment, and ensure shop cleanliness.
• Participate in feedback to improve operations.

Job description

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with daily shipping schedule and perform inventory checks to ensure accurate information is provided for proper decision making
• Deliver materials and equipment to and from jobsites. Assist with loading and unloading
• Assist the team in handling daily communication with 3rd party partners
• Assist the team as needed throughout the day
• Perform receiving duties and recording part orders
• Work cooperatively with colleagues and other departments and communicate relevant information in a timely and effective manner
• Tool repair and maintenance
• Assist in restocking warehouse materials
• Responsible for breaking down HVAC equipment and organizing scrap metal
• Refrigerant recovery and record keeping in compliance with EPA 608
• Provide feedback and recommendations to their manager regarding changes to improve the operation and implement action plans as directed
• General shop maintenance, cleaning, and organization
