Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an HVAC Serviceman to join our Lake Charles, LA team. You will commission, service and maintain commercial HVAC equipment, consult with customers on comfort and efficiency, and work with factory support to diagnose issues.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to join the UA of Plumbers and Pipefitters. EPA refrigerant certification is required, with call-out shifts on weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license.
• Be willing to join the UA of Plumbers and Pipefitters.
• EPA Refrigerant Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
• Identify enhancements to improve system reliability and energy efficiency.
• Provide labor and material quotes to support recommendations.
• Participate in weekend, night, and holiday call-out service on a rotating basis.
