Job summary

Johnson Controls Inc. is seeking skilled HVAC Mechanics to support the fast-growing North America HVAC business. This role involves working on light commercial and/or heavy commercial equipment with a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualified candidates have at least 3 years of commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting, a Universal EPA refrigerants license, and a valid driver’s license. Travel up to 20% may be required; union membership or willingness to join is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years Commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting experience.
• Must be able to pass knowledge examination to assess proficiencies.
• Travel 10–20% to support branch activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair and replacement on commercial HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with rooftop units, pumps, fans, boilers, chillers, and related equipment.
• Provide quotes to customers and support service and sales quotations.
• Write clear reports detailing problem, cause and corrective actions.
