Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a Service Technician II in Huntsville, AL to diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment. Onsite role with growth through hands-on training and regional support.

You will work on rooftops, chillers, boilers, and air handling systems, while maintaining safety standards and documenting service activity for billing and inventory purposes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related experience with increasing responsibility or equivalent education and experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical/HVAC certificate or equivalent education.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Rotational emergency call support as required.
• Local license or training card as required by law.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.
• Service rooftop units, split systems, chillers, and boilers; replace parts and lubricate where needed.
• Lead Level I technicians through hands-on troubleshooting.
• Record billing, inventory, and timecards promptly.
• Provide status reports to customers before, during, and after calls.
• Participate in Daikin training and maintain required certifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety policies.
