Job summary

Daikin Applied seeks a Service Technician II to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, including rooftops, chillers, boilers, and air handling units. The role is onsite in Atlanta, GA, with potential exposure to a range of systems and a path to advanced troubleshooting under senior guidance.

You will participate in factory and regional training, maintain essential certifications, document service activity, and communicate clearly with customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related experience with increasing responsibility or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Technical school with HVAC certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
• Rotational Emergency Call Support as required
• Required license(s) and/or training card as required by local law district
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
• Commercial HVAC Industry Experience (preferred)
• EPA approved Universal Technician Certification (preferred)
• OSHA 10 within 90 days of hire (preferred)
• Current first aid / CPR card (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance for commercial and industrial HVAC equipment
• Repair and replacement of defective equipment, components, or wiring related to various HVAC systems
• Maintain and inspect equipment to prevent breakdowns or callbacks
• Perform warranty service application by inspecting and testing systems
• Direct Level I technicians through hands-on demonstrations to troubleshoot and repair equipment
• Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, and other articles promptly
• Explain technical information to technical and non-technical audiences
• Participate in available training and maintain required certifications

Education

High School Diploma or GED

HVAC certificate from technical school

EPA approved Universal Technician Certification

OSHA 10 certification
