Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a Service Technician II to perform residential and light commercial service and maintenance. You will diagnose problems, service HVAC systems, and communicate with dispatch while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with HVAC experience and relevant certifications; you will read wiring diagrams, operate hand-held devices, and work flexible hours, including on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with HVAC experience and technical training certification.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Must have valid licensing or certification as required by local laws.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, and duct systems.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds; climb ladders; work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and light commercial service and maintenance calls under general supervision.
• Analyze and diagnose customer problems in a courteous and timely manner.
• Service heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.
• Inspect equipment and perform diagnostics to prevent failures.
• Deliver parts/equipment and complete paperwork on customer calls.
• Communicate with dispatch and maintain accurate status reports.
• Promote products and services to customers and generate replacement leads.
• Uphold safety, PPE, and company procedures.
• Maintain company vehicle, stock, and tools.
