Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a full-time Service Technician II in Houston to diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment including rooftops, chillers, boilers, and related systems.

The role requires 3+ years of related experience, EPA Universal certification preferred, and OSHA 10 training within 90 days. On-site duties include supervising Level I technicians, preparing service reports, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years related experience with increasing responsibility or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• EPA approved Universal Technician Certification preferred.
• OSHA 10 within 90 days of hire (Daikin provides this training during onboarding process)

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment and diagnose faults.
• Direct Level I technicians through hands-on demonstrations of troubleshooting steps.
• Record and report billing, timecards, inventory, and related articles in a timely manner.
• Interact with customers by providing status updates during service calls and explaining technical information.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance with Daikin Applied policies.
