Job summary

Daikin Applied in Austin, TX is seeking a Service Technician II to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment including rooftop units, chillers, and boilers. You will train Level I technicians, inspect systems to prevent failures, and communicate service status to customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related experience with increasing responsibility or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• HVAC certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• EPA Universal Technician Certification preferred.
• OSHA 10 within 90 days of hire (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment.
• Lead Level I technicians with hands-on demonstrations.
• Inspect systems to prevent breakdowns and reduce callbacks.
• Explain technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Maintain documentation for billing, inventory, and timekeeping.
• Follow safety policies and participate in Daikin training programs.
