Job summary

Service Experts is seeking a Service Technician II to perform residential and light commercial HVAC service and maintenance calls under minimal supervision. You will diagnose issues, service equipment, and communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction.

You will read wiring diagrams, use diagnostic tools, and apply mechanical aptitude to balance airflow, service refrigeration and related systems, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with additional training and 2+ years’ experience in HVAC is required.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Skilled at servicing heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment and related accessories.

Responsibilities

• Works under minimal supervision to perform residential and/or light commercial service and maintenance calls.
• Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves customer problems in a courteous, professional, timely, and accurate manner.
• Diagnoses and performs services on HVAC equipment (heating, cooling, ventilation) to identify and fix issues.
• Inspects equipment and performs diagnostics to prevent potential problems and callbacks.
• Completes routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as needed or required.
