EES Facility Services in Dayton, OH is seeking a full-time HVAC Service Technician II to install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems for commercial clients. The role includes diagnosing HVAC/R equipment, conducting start-ups, and providing technical guidance to apprentices.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, 2+ years in commercial HVAC, and willingness to travel up to 85–90% in a company vehicle. Competitive wages and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) provided.
• Sheet metal work or refrigeration experience required; vocational school or trade apprenticeships preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel 85-90% of the time in a company vehicle.
• Graduated from a local HVAC training program.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Commercial HVAC field.
• Ability to independently perform routine maintenance and service larger HVAC equipment.
• Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems for industrial and commercial clients.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC/R equipment and associated electrical systems.
• Start-up, balancing, and commissioning on equipment.
• Identify maintenance risks and diagnose faults for HVAC systems.
• Clean, adjust, and repair systems including warranty services.
• Respond to emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to apprentices.
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and safety acts.
• Complete accurate paperwork and time entries in work orders.
• Assist customers with queries and perform other duties.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
• 7:30 AM – 5 PM

What you need to succeed:

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).

• Clean, adjust, and repair systems, including performing warranty services.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency repairs.
• Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to Skilled Trade 1 and apprentices.
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Complete accurate and timely paperwork, notes, and time entries into work orders.
• Assist customers with queries and perform other assigned duties.
