Job summary

Service Experts in Charleston, SC is seeking an HVAC technician to diagnose, service, and maintain residential and light commercial equipment under general supervision. You will communicate with customers, answer questions, resolve issues, and promote products and services while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, preventive maintenance, lifting up to 75 pounds, and coordinating with dispatch for accurate status updates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with additional training and HVAC certification.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• 2+ years HVAC experience or technical training.

Responsibilities

• Works on residential and light commercial HVAC service and maintenance calls.
• Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves customer problems in a courteous, professional, timely manner.
• Performs diagnostics on heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.
• Inspects equipment and performs preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
• Records job details on handheld device and ensures paperwork is complete.
