Job summary

Service Experts is seeking a Service Technician I in Charleston, SC. You will diagnose and service residential and light commercial HVAC systems, communicating with customers to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.

The role includes maintenance, parts handling, and providing excellent customer service while promoting company products and services. The position requires a High School diploma or GED with HVAC training, EPA/safety certifications, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with HVAC training and 0–2 years’ experience.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Proficient with reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting electrical/refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and/or light commercial service and maintenance calls.
• Diagnose and resolve customer problems in a courteous, timely, and accurate manner.
• Inspect equipment and perform diagnostics to prevent breakdowns or callbacks.
• Accurately record information on the handheld device and communicate with dispatch.
