Job summary

Rodenhiser Home Services Inc. in Holliston, MA, is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems, guiding customers toward informed buying decisions.

The role includes completing residential service calls, building rapport, and mentoring apprentices. You will help customers choose the best finance options and maintenance plans while maintaining a clean truck and job site.

Qualifications

• EPA universal certificate required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• At least one state license or certification.
• Proficient with tools for basic service calls.
• Knowledge of HVAC/Plumbing and gas codes and proper electrical/HVAC safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete residential HVAC service calls within your area of expertise.
• Establish customer rapport to instill confidence in team and recommendations.
• Ask lifestyle questions to troubleshoot system malfunctions.
• Educate customers on finance options and maintenance plans.
• Complete follow up calls with HVAC Service & Install departments.
• Train and mentor HVAC apprentices to ensure quality repairs and installations.
• Explain replacement opportunities for aging, inefficient systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and well stocked truck.
