Job summary

Hiller Heating and AC is seeking a Service Technician to perform thorough HVAC inspections, repairs, and maintenance at customer sites. You will ensure work is compliant with applicable codes, order parts for service days, and communicate clearly with customers about questions or issues.

The role includes training junior technicians and maintaining professionalism with clients and colleagues. EPA/NATE certifications are valued, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years verifiable HVAC experience.
• Knowledge of residential HVAC fundamentals.
• Ability to troubleshoot refrigerant, electrical, and duct systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough and accurate HVAC inspections.
• Perform repairs and replacements to code.
• Order parts for appointments and ensure readiness for service day.
• Submit purchase orders to dispatch or designated purchasing team.
• Communicate effectively with customers about questions and concerns.
• Train, coach and mentor apprentices.
• Maintain courteous demeanor with customers and associates.
