Job summary

Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is seeking an HVAC Technician to deliver thorough inspections, accurate repairs, and compliant installations across our residential service area. You will coordinate parts for daily service, process purchase orders, and communicate clearly with customers about progress and solutions.

The role emphasizes coaching apprentices, maintaining professionalism, and upholding our commitment to safety and customer satisfaction at every visit.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years verifiable HVAC field experience.
• Understanding of residential HVAC systems and codes.
• Ability to troubleshoot refrigerant, electrical, and ductwork issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform a thorough and accurate HVAC inspection.
• Perform all HVAC repairs and replacements to applicable codes.
• Facilitate order for all parts required for appointments and ensure preparedness for the day of service.
• Submit purchase orders to dispatch or other designated purchasing team administrators.
• Effectively communicate with the customer regarding questions, concerns and problems.
• Train, coach and mentor apprentices.
• Maintain a courteous demeanor with customers and associates at all times.
