Job summary

Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to perform thorough inspections, repairs, and maintenance at customer sites in the Knoxville area. You will coordinate parts, communicate clearly with customers, and support apprentices while maintaining professional service standards.

Ideal candidates will have EPA certification and a high school diploma or GED, with NATE or HVAC certification preferred.

Qualifications

• EPA Certification required or actively pursuing credential.
• HVAC diploma or equivalent certification preferred.
• NATE certification preferred; relevant field experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough and accurate HVAC inspections.
• Perform HVAC repairs and replacements to applicable codes.
• Facilitate ordering of parts for appointments; ensure readiness for service day.
• Submit purchase orders to dispatch or designated purchasing team.
• Effectively communicate with customers about questions, concerns and problems.
• Train, coach and mentor apprentices.
• Maintain courteous demeanor with customers and colleagues.
