Job summary

Able Heating & Air, Inc. is hiring an entry-level HVAC Service Technician to join our Culpeper team. The role offers $18.00 - $23.00 per hour, with paid training and opportunities for long-term career growth within our family-owned company.

You’ll assist with residential service, maintenance, and installation, build hands-on skills, and work with experienced technicians who mentor their teammates. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months HVAC experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable working from extension and step ladders.
• Willingness to invest in tools and continued HVAC education.
• Commitment to developing strong customer service skills.
• Ability to obtain EPA certification within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist with residential HVAC service, maintenance, and installation work.
• Perform preventative maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
• Troubleshoot basic HVAC issues alongside senior technicians.
• Safely operate power tools, hand tools, ladders, and equipment.
• Deliver professional, friendly customer service in customers' homes.
• Participate in training programs and continue developing technical skills.
