Job summary

Townsend Energy in Danvers, MA is seeking an HVAC Service Technician for the 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:00pm). Responsible for troubleshooting, diagnostics, service, repair and maintenance of residential and light commercial HVAC equipment, including AC, oil, propane, gas systems.

Must have EPA certification and be able to read wiring diagrams, provide excellent customer service, and document work on a tablet. We offer cross-training, education programs, and a take-home company vehicle with gas card,

Qualifications

• Residential HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams/blueprints.
• Knowledge of air balancing principles and techniques.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, diagnostics, service, repair, and maintenance of residential and light commercial HVAC equipment.
• AC service, repair, and maintenance.
• Working with oil, propane, natural gas, and electric HVAC systems.
• Propane and electric heating/air conditioning systems, heat pumps, ductless systems, and boilers.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Consulting with and educating homeowners on systems and products.
• Ability to contact tech support with diagnostic questions.
• Daily use of tablet.

HVAC Service Technician – 2nd shift | $38.00 to $50.00 per hour, depending on experience

Pay depending on experience - must have AC, oil & propane experience

Work Schedule: 3:00pm - 11:00pm | Monday to Friday

Job Duties:

• Troubleshooting, diagnostics, service, repair, and maintenance of residential and light commercial HVAC equipment
• AC service, repair, and maintenance
• Working with oil, propane, natural gas, and electric HVAC systems
