Job summary

The Fuel Company in East Falmouth, MA is hiring an Oil Burner Service Technician to install, service and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC equipment. You’ll work with oil burners, propane, natural gas, and electric systems, including heat pumps and boilers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC experience.
• Massachusetts Oil Burner License is required.
• EPA Universal preferred.
• Knowledge of air balancing and HVAC performance.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC equipment.
• Work with oil burners, propane, natural gas, and electric HVAC systems.
• Propane and electric heating/air conditioning systems, heat pumps, ductless systems, and boilers.
• Experience service/maintenance/troubleshooting/repairing a wide range of residential and light commercial equipment.
• Consulting customers on repair, upgrade and replacement options, and educating homeowners" products.
• Contact tech support with diagnostic questions.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Daily use of tablet.

Oil Burner Service Technician - HVAC | $38.00 to $45.00 + per hour. We pay based on experience and capabilities

Work Hours:

Day Shift, 8-hour workday; flexible start time

Work Schedule:

Full-time, Monday through Friday, overtime available, and on-call rotation

Job Duties:

• Service and maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC equipment
• Working with oil burners, propane, natural gas, and electric HVAC systems
• Propane and electric heating/air conditioning systems, heat pumps, ductless systems, and boilers
