Job summary

Tevis - Modern Comfort in Westminster, MD seeks a Heating/Air Conditioning Technician to plan, install, maintain and repair HVAC systems for residential and commercial customers.

You will troubleshoot issues, diagnose repairs, and ensure adherence to industry codes while delivering excellent customer service and continuous education opportunities. Competitive hourly pay and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years HVAC experience preferred with oil, gas, air conditioning or ductless systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair systems; provide repair recommendations.
• Strong customer communication and positive customer experience.
• Must pass background check and have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to climb, lift, kneel and work in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

The Heating/Air Conditioning Technician will plan, implement, perform maintenance, installation, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment.

$25-$35 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where interruptions may occur.
• Minimum of 3 years of HVAC experience preferred (oil, gas, air conditioning, ductless), but will consider other applications.
• Great customer communication skills and creating a positive customer experience.
• Ability to diagnose, make recommendations for repairs, and complete repairs.
• Self-motivated individual with a strong ability to follow instructions and work alone, as well as work effectively within a team.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to climb, lift, stoop, balance, crouch, crawl, or/and kneel continually.
• Knowledge and ability to operate tablet/smartphone technology.
