One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning – A Growing HVAC Startup in Seattle, WA is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain residential systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioners. The role requires at least 5 years of hands-on experience, valid EPA Section 608 certification, and a Seattle Journeyman Refrigeration license or willingness to obtain.

A valid WA driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of verifiable, hands-on residential HVAC service experience.
• Current EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal preferred).
• Seattle Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic License (preferred). WA 06A Electrical Trainee Card will be provided if not held.
• Valid WA State Driver's License with a clean record.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot across residential HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on residential HVAC systems.
• Complete service calls efficiently and accurately, documenting work in ServiceTitan or similar software.
• Provide honest recommendations to homeowners and present repair or replacement options.
• Maintain a professional appearance and premium customer experience on every call.
• Manage truck stock, tools, and parts inventory.
• Follow all safety protocols and local code requirements.
• Participate in ongoing training and manufacturer certification programs.
• Support installation projects as needed.

Required Qualifications
