Job summary

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning of Sandy, UT is seeking a Residential HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and service residential systems in Murray and Sandy. You’ll not only fix units but set a standard for service quality from day one.

We offer year‑round work, service commissions, a take-home van, company phone/tablet, uniforms, paid training, and a clear path for advancement. EPA 608 certification is required; NATE preferred; 3+ years experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years residential HVAC service experience (not installation only).
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification is required.
• NATE certification preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills are essential.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and have basic tools.
• Clean driving record is a must.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions and determine the extent of repairs.
• Give homeowners honest recommendations and avoid overselling.
• Keep a neat work area and inspect it after every job.
• Wear floor savers in the client’s home.
• Maintain a clean, stocked company vehicle.
• Drive and work safely every day.

Compensation

$33.00–$38.00 per hour, plus performance incentives. Earning potential $80K–$100K+ for strong performers.
