One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning in Pompano Beach, FL is hiring HVAC Service Technicians to educate customers on technical and investment decisions while making service calls in customers' homes.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years HVAC service/repair experience.
• EPA Type I and II certification required.
• NATE certification preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or GED.*
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Pass background check and drug screen.
• Excellent communication and technical skills.
• Willingness to be videotaped for training purposes.

Responsibilities

• Assess HVAC systems to determine repair or replacement recommendations.
• Communicate recommendations clearly to customers.
• Perform services and repairs with technical excellence.
• Test systems after service or repair.
• Inspect systems to prevent future breakdowns.
• Explain services and repairs to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Complete paperwork accurately and write recommendations on invoices.
• Provide customer leads to sales team when there is a need.

Skills

Two+ years HVAC service experience

EPA Type I & II

NATE certification preferred

Strong communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Assess HVAC systems to determine repair or replacement recommendations.
• Effectively communicate these recommendations to customers.
• Perform services and repairs with a focus on technical excellence.
• Test each system after service or repair has been completed.
• Perform a proper inspection of the system to prevent future breakdowns.
• Effectively explain all services and repairs performed to customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Accurately complete all paperwork and ensure recommendations are written on invoices.
• Provide customer leads to sales team after identifying a potential need for system additions or replacements.

Qualifications:

• Must have two or more years of successful experience as a Service & Repair Technician in the HVAC industry.
• EPA Type 1 and 2 required.
• NATE certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must display strong communication skills and technical competence.
• Must sign the Company Code of Ethics and agree to being videotaped for training and compliance purposes at least six (6) times per year.
