Job summary

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning, an affiliate of Authority Brands, is hiring HVAC Service Technicians in Pompano Beach, FL to educate customers on options and perform in-home service calls.

You will assess systems, communicate recommendations, and perform services with a focus on technical excellence. The role offers competitive pay with commissions, flexible schedules, and robust benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO, parental leave, and a 401k match.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years as HVAC Service & Repair Technician.
• EPA Type 1 and 2 required; NATE preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assess HVAC systems and recommend repair or replacement.
• Explain recommendations clearly to customers.
• Perform services and repairs with technical excellence.
• Test systems after service/repair.
• Inspect systems to prevent future breakdowns.
• Explain services and repairs to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Complete paperwork and write recommendations on invoices.
• Provide customer leads to sales team when applicable.

We are hiring HVAC Service Technicians to provide exceptional customer service by educating customers on technical and investment decisions while making service calls in their homes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess HVAC systems to determine repair or replacement recommendations.
• Effectively communicate these recommendations to customers.
• Perform services and repairs with a focus on technical excellence.
• Test each system after service or repair has been completed.
• Perform a proper inspection of the system to prevent future breakdowns.
• Effectively explain all services and repairs performed to customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Accurately complete all paperwork and ensure recommendations are written on invoices.
• Provide customer leads to sales team after identifying a potential need for system additions or replacements.

Qualifications:

• Must have two or more years of successful experience as a Service & Repair Technician in the HVAC industry.
• EPA Type 1 and 2 required.
• NATE certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must display strong communication skills and technical competence.
• Must sign the Company Code of Ethics and agree to being videotaped for training and compliance purposes at least six (6) times per year.
