Job summary

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is hiring an HVAC Maintenance Technician in Indianapolis to service newer residential heating and cooling systems according to company standards, delivering a high-quality customer experience.

You’ll conduct maintenance calls, document parts and costs, debrief with dispatch, and uphold safety and professional image while mentoring junior technicians. The role offers paid training and strong benefits in a growth-minded company.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma
• Associate's degree in related field preferred
• Ability to pass NATE Core Test
• Solid communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Comfort Club and revenue maintenance calls as well as parts/component replacement calls.
• Accurately documents age and type of each system component on invoices, costs for services and services completed.
• Debrief service call with dispatch after each service call.
• Inspection of area for cleanliness after job completion.
• Maintains company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and organization, both inside and out.
• Maintain a professional image and a courteous demeanor with customers and associates at all times.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Abiding by ALL One Hour standards of performance and code of ethics.
• Respecting the customer's property.
• Participate in ALL company sponsored training classes.
• Assist in mentoring and training maintenance technicians.
