One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning, an affiliate of Authority Brands, is hiring HVAC Service Technicians to educate customers on technical decisions while performing home service calls. We value career growth, competitive pay with commission, and flexible schedules across two shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of service & repair experience in HVAC.
• EPA Type 1 and 2 certification required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assess HVAC systems to determine repair or replacement.
• Communicate recommendations to customers clearly.
• Perform services and repairs with technical excellence.
• Test systems after service or repair completion.
• Inspect system to prevent future breakdowns.
• Explain services performed to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Complete paperwork and document recommendations on invoices.
• Provide customer leads to sales team when needs arise.

Responsibilities:

• Assess HVAC systems to determine repair or replacement recommendations.
• Effectively communicate these recommendations to customers.
• Perform services and repairs with a focus on technical excellence.
• Test each system after service or repair has been completed.
• Perform a proper inspection of the system to prevent future breakdowns.
• Effectively explain all services and repairs performed to customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Accurately complete all paperwork and ensure recommendations are written on invoices.
• Provide customer leads to sales team after identifying a potential need for system additions or replacements.

Qualifications:

• Must have two or more years of successful experience as a Service & Repair Technician in the HVAC industry.
• EPA Type 1 and 2 required.
• NATE certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must display strong communication skills and technical competence.
• Must sign the Company Code of Ethics and agree to being videotaped for training and compliance purposes at least six (6) times per year.
