JOB SKILLS:

• Maintain and repair different type of HVAC systems including various mechanical and electrical equipment and controls for both residential and commercial systems
• Inspect, identify, and trouble shoot malfunctions of the different components of air conditioning and heating equipment and present the solution and implement the resolution
• Install replacement parts and HVAC related components
• Test and verify system readings ensuring an optimal system operation
• Provide preventive maintenance on required systems
• Responsible for gathering required materials for repairing and testing systems
• Maintain truck inventory and keep service vehicle clean and organized
• Complete electronic paperwork / processes required by management
• Contact Dispatcher on completion of each call, provide information as requested

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a high school education
• Ability to understand and apply basic math
• Understand local electrical and H.V.A.C. codes and have a mechanical aptitude
• Ability to diagnose and repair all parts of commercial or residential HVAC equipment
• Must possess documentation skills, conceptual skills, attention to detail, and be dependable
• Knowledge of hazard and safety practices common to trade
• Ability to work on ladders and in varied environmental conditions in a safe manner
• Must be punctual and have a good work ethic
• Must possess good customer service and communication skills
• Must believe in and display, honesty and integrity, and a moral values system
• Be at least 18 years of age

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• City of Omaha Journeyman's License (Not required)
• EPA Certification for refrigerant
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• NATE certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
