Job summary

Renfrow Heating Cooling Electrical Plumbing Generators in North Carolina is seeking an HVAC Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems. You will troubleshoot, perform routine maintenance, test performance, and document work while ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC service or maintenance experience in residential settings.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC codes and safety procedures.
• Must be 21+ and eligible to work in the US.
• Pre-employment drug test and background check required.
• Excellent customer service and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and troubleshoot HVAC systems to identify issues and determine necessary repairs
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed
• Test HVAC system performance and efficiency using specialized tools and equipment
• Install, repair, or replace defective parts or components of HVAC systems
• Identify and recommend upgrades or improvements to enhance system performance and energy efficiency
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on HVAC systems
• Comply with all safety regulations and guidelines while working on HVAC systems

What you will DO:

What you NEED:

• 2+ years of HVAC service or maintenance experience in residential preferred
• Basic knowledge of the HVAC codes and safety procedures
• Service Titan knowledge a plus
• Must be 21 or older
• Eligible to work in the US
• Valid US Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record
• Experience managing a fleet vehicle and product inventory
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug test and background check
• Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods.
• Superb customer service skills, honest, dependable, and reliable
• Physical dexterity/Ability to work outdoors
• Ability to handle heavy equipment
