Job summary

Jackson Comfort is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain homes’ HVAC systems on-site in Northfield, OH. You will troubleshoot furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and basic electrical components, while delivering professional customer service and clear explanations to homeowners.

Qualified candidates have at least 3 years of residential HVAC experience, EPA Universal Certification, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot gas furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and basic electrical systems

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC service experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience servicing gas furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps
• Comfortable using electrical meters, manometers, refrigerant gauges, and combustion analyzers
• Ability to diagnose systems before replacing parts
• EPA Universal Certification required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently while representing the company professionally

Preferred Qualifications

• NATE Certification
• Experience with inverter‑driven HVAC systems
• Experience using MeasureQuick or similar diagnostic software
• ServiceTitan experience
• Boiler service experience
