Job summary

A#1 Air, Inc. is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to service and repair systems on-site in Texas. You will troubleshoot, perform emergency repairs, and ensure safety and code compliance while communicating clearly with customers.

Competitive pay of $25–$27 per hour plus commission and spiffs, with full benefits and a 401(k) match. Valid license and EPA certification required; background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an HVAC Service Technician.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License with a clean record.
• Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Clean, adjust, and repair HVAC systems, including air handling units, ductwork, vents, and drainage.
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
• Track repairs and work in ServiceTitan software.
• Engage with customers to inform them of issues, solutions, and outcomes, and recommend products/services for optimal system performance.

Essential Job Functions

• Clean, adjust, and repair HVAC systems, including air handling units, ductwork, vents, and condensation drainage
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems and equipment to diagnose issues
• Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety regulations
• Track HVAC repairs and work completed in trade software (ServiceTitan)
• Engage with customers to inform them of issues, solutions, and outcomes, and recommend products/services for optimal system performance

What You Need
