Job summary

Boothe’s Heating, Air, Plumbing & Electrical in Hollywood, MD is hiring a Residential HVAC Service Tech to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential systems while delivering 5-star customer service.

You’ll run your own truck, mentor apprentices, and participate in on-call rotations, with a 4/10 schedule option and company benefits. Candidates should have 3+ years of HVAC experience, EPA Universal license, valid license, clean driving record, and be comfortable working independently.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC maintenance, diagnosis, and repair; must have ran your own truck.
• EPA Universal license required (we can assist to obtain).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and commitment to exceeding expectations.
• Must have valid driver's license, clean driving record, background check, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Educate customers on performance, maintenance needs, and upgrade options.
• Generate accurate quotes, process payments, and document all work.
• Maintain truck inventory and communicate with dispatch/parts.
• Mentor apprentices and support their growth.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
• Deliver a 5-star customer experience with a professional appearance.
• Complete work to meet local, state, and national codes.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 3+ years in HVAC maintenance, diagnosis, and repair (must have run your own truck)
• Certification: EPA Universal license required (we can help you get it if needed)
• Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently
• Customer Service: Excellent communication skills and a commitment to exceeding expectations
• Detail-Oriented: Organized, thorough, and committed to doing the job right the first time
• Requirements: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, background check, and drug screen
