Job summary

A/C & Plumbing Doctors is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to independently handle residential maintenance, repair, diagnostics, and troubleshooting while delivering a high level of customer service.

You will perform maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, diagnose issues, and document work while staying current with industry practices. This is a full-time, on-site role in Gilbert, AZ with competitive pay and benefits.

• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Install, repair, or replace components such as compressors, motors, thermostats, filters, and ductwork.
• Coordinate with team to manage schedules and respond to service calls.

About the Role: This role is designed for season HVAC service professionals. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will independently handle residential maintenance, repair, diagnostics, and troubleshooting while delivering a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repair of residential HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues to identify the root cause of malfunctions and recommend effective solutions.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and identify potential problems before they escalated.
• Install, repair, or replace components, such as compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, filters, and ductwork.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate work schedules, prioritize service calls, and efficiently complete assignments.
• Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their concerns, explaining repair options, and providing recommendations for system improvements.
• Accurately document service activities, including equipment status, repairs performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Stay updated on industry advancements, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC systems.
• Solid knowledge of HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and workload.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
