Job summary

Diamond Heating & Cooling is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of residential and commercial systems. You will prioritize safety, quality, and customer satisfaction while delivering clear recommendations and timely service notes.

You’ll perform preventative maintenance, install and service equipment, and collaborate with a skilled team to solve problems. A valid license and EPA certification are required, with ongoing training and competitive pay and

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of HVAC service or maintenance experience.
• EPA Certification required.
• HVAC Apprentice Card required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Ability to work on rooftops, attics, crawlspaces.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, RTUs, and split systems.
• Communicate clearly with customers about service issues, options, and recommendations.
• Complete service tickets and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards, codes, and procedures.
• Work independently and collaboratively to resolve complex technical issues.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good condition.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with systems, technologies, and certification

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2–5 years of experience in HVAC service or maintenance (commercial and/or residential).
• HVAC Apprentice Card required

• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work in a variety of environments, including rooftops, attics, and crawlspaces.
