Job summary

Comfort Solutions in Ogden, UT seeks a skilled HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial systems. You’ll work on rooftops, attics, and crawlspaces, communicating clearly with customers and documenting service tickets, with safety and quality at the forefront.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in HVAC service, a valid driver’s license, EPA certification preferred, and the ability to pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of HVAC service or maintenance experience (residential preferred).
• EPA Certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work in rooftops, attics, and crawlspaces.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential settings.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Communicate clearly with customers about service issues, options, and recommendations.
• Complete service tickets and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards, codes, and procedures.
• Work independently and collaboratively to resolve complex technical issues.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good condition.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with systems, technologies, and certifications.
