With our new office in Syracuse, NY, we are currently looking to expand our team of customer-focused technicians.

Job Overview

Evaluate HVAC systems, water heaters, fireplaces and other equipment to assess their condition and identify and perform any necessary repairs or preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service all HVAC products on assigned projects and ensure customer satisfaction
• Review diagnostics and use the proper tools to complete repairs
• Perform proper preventative maintenance as needed
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests
• Provide final inspection of systems once repairs are completed to ensure all equipment is operating safely
• Foster good customer relations by explaining the service work performed, providing technical support and making sure they are happy with the job that has been done
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as required to maintain and enhance departmental productivity

Requirements

• 2-4 years industry experience or equivalent HVAC schooling preferred
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and how to repair/maintain them
• Solid experience with hand and power tools, as well as an overall mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and understand wiring diagram and system literature
• Must be able to work well independently and in a team
• Must be able to be on-call within our on-call rotation
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, in speech and writing with customers and our team
• Valid driver’s license required
